An original Refined Rock-Groove artist that combines classic guitar styles and intoxicating rhthyms accented by Nick LeDuc's unique vocal style to give you, the listener, one of the freshest sounds heard on the music scene in a very long time. From funk to blues, and rock to folk there's a little something in between all of it that comes to make up the sound Nick LeDuc projects live or in studio.
Nick LeDuc was born and raised on the St Lawrence River. Having always shown interest in music he pursued a career as a musician very early. Starting first on the piano then moving onto the French Horn, Drums, Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals. He also had a period where he made a living as a DJ". Nicks style has continued to grow over the years and has left us with a very distinguished sound.
He made a 5-year run with a band he started called "LastNote". “LastNote” performed with big bands like "The Blues Travlers" "Sim Redmond band" "Cowboy Mouth" "Ryan Montbleu" "Ozomotli" "The Duskray Troubadours" to name a few...It was shortly after his run with the band he decided to move right into a solo career. Along the way he was able to pick up multiple endorsements with such names as Intune guitar picks, Furch guitars, Dirtbag clothing, SIT Strings...
His live performances are always "on the spot" type performances with zero rehearsal for that show. Each show is treated differently having no setlist or predetermined idea of a song order. He doesn’t work on songs he already knows at home or in the studio. Meaning if it’s been 3 months since you heard a song and he plays it; it’s been 3 months since he’s played it. This makes all the songs that Nick plays, different every time he plays them. This is part of the allure that continues to make his shows so much different then the rest. It also makes for a very organic show.
